| Comments: | Upon this, my first visit to this site, I am amazed to find so many loyal fans of Erasure. I was worried that I was the only one, but it appears that I am the only local one. Still, it is a comfort to know there are also fans of the other bands in the genre (Depeche Mode, New Order, Psychadelic Furs, Pet Shop Boys, The Smiths,and one I thought conspicuously missing: The The,... etal.) I have loved their sounds since - geeze - a really long time. As I unfold more and more...and then even some more of this incredibly comprehensive site, I feel strongly the need to tell you how impressed I am at your labor of love. Such excellent organization and almost frightening attention to the obscure, you really are a fan among fans. WOW, nice job, really. |

The very first cassettes I purchased were: The Innocents (naturally), The Circus, & Wonderland...& since that time, have eagerly & anxiously awaited everything they've ever released in their brilliant prolific catalogue. Vince Clarke even inspired me to shave my head (even before Moby did..)..2 incredibly talented artists that I love. My absolute #1 favorite album of all time is Erasure's self-titled "experimental" release from 1995. For crying out loud, it should have been multi-platinum !!!!!...what a profoundly underrated masterpiece !...in my own mind, it equals The Beatles - Revolver ! (voted best rock album of all time on VH1)... |

After that, I bought every single album on vinyl and cd, along with every cd single they ever made! Loveboat is brilliant, so is Cowboy! We went to see Erasure at the Cowboy concert in the Sheffield Arena and was totally mind blowing! Roll on the next album guys, and hopefully - the tours which go with it. | Comments: | The first time I heard Erasure was in 1992. The song was "a little respect" and I fell in love INSTANTLY. I have been a loyal fan of Erasure and Depeche Mode ever since. My favorites are "Piano Song", "Because Your So Sweet", "Rock Me Gently", "Spiralling", and "My Heart...So Blue", just to name a few, actually I could go on and on with the favorite list! My Heart...So Blue, Spiralling, and Piano Song got me through the darkest times of my life. I absolutley LOVE the Two Ring Circus album. It has a great version of Oh Lamour. If I had one wish it would be to say "Thank You" to Andy and Vince. Andy has the voice of an angel..... |

| Comments: | Hey Erasures! I started listening to Erasure when I was 17 years old in 1987 - Christ, that was 15 years ago! Anyway, I had enough of all the damn stations playing crap from Guns and Roses and Heart and had never heard this style of music. The lyrics were all strangely familiar to me even when I was listening to them for the first time. I have had the amazing opportunity to see them twice, once on the Wild tour in Washington, D.C., and once on the Fantasimal whatever tour in Chicago. I MUST SEE THEM AGAIN....love the web site and look forward to tour information someday soon! |
